Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Department of Archaeology and Museum Studies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Centre for Paleoethnological Research are pleased to invite you to contribute to the new peer-reviewed volume entitled “Digital Tools for the Study and Preservation of Cultural Heritage Objects”.
The volume will focus on the application of modern digital, visual, three-dimensional (3D), four-dimensional (4D), VR/AR, and artificial intelligence (AI) tools for the detection, research, data analysis, interpretation, and reconstruction of cultural heritage objects in Ukraine and worldwide.
We welcome original research papers in Ukrainian or English that address the following topics:
- modern digital tools for the study and protection of cultural heritage objects;
- digital technologies in working with museum artefacts and collections;
- remote and non-invasive digital methods of documenting archaeological sites, architectural monuments, and monumental art;
- GIS methods and digital mapping;
- digital databases, tagging, and data classification;
- reconstructive capabilities of digital applications.
